Last week I was lucky to second time participate in the event of Oracle Academy Day 2019, Moscow.

It was very interesting and informative to talk with colleagues from universities and schools in Russia (Moscow, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Yaroslavl, Yekaterinburg, Ryazan, North Ossetia–Alania), Belarus, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This year the event was for two days.

At the first day of the event, colleagues from different countries have discussed their experiences of using advanced IT technologies and tools and specialists from Oracle Corporation talked about database security solutions, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, ChatBots and Robotics.

At the second day, the opportunity was given to visit the IT college – IT HUB. We took a closer look at the IT HUB educational process, that is, how is the specialized training of IT specialists going, what subjects they are taught, how the teaching/presentation process is going on and in what setting (training, laboratory classes) classes are held. Also, together with the participants and the college teachers talked on the topic of Edutaiment. At the end of the two-day event, it was concluded that students need to arouse interest in new technologies and provide more time for practical tasks.

There were a lot of interesting and useful information. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Oracle Academy team for an fruitful and cool event. Hope to participate as speaker to the Oracle Academy Day Moscow again the next year.
