DOAG 2019 conference + exhibition

Last month I had a great opportunity to travel to Germany for the second time and participate in the biggest and coolest IT conference. IT event was organized by DOAG! I spent 7 fantastic and unforgettable days in Germany. Below is a summary of the event and the trip.

DOAG2019 gathered around 2,500 participants from more than 30 countries at Nuremberg Convention Center. Within 3 days more than 400 topics were presented. One day before the event, there was a meeting of the UG leaders of the EMEA region.

The event itself was great, cool and fantastic – a lot of relevant and useful topics, cool speakers, legends of the IT industry, exhibition stands of world IT companies, very interesting participants, met many old and new friends, as well as a lot of delicious food and entertainment! The second time I made sure that DOAG holds very great events! From the side of DOAG, everything was done at the highest level! Really appreciated! Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to DOAG for the invitation, support and warm welcome! With your upport my 7 days trip to Germany were wonderful and unforgettable for me. Thank you so much DOAG! You are doing great things for OUG world in EMEA region!

By the way, I flew to Nuremberg 1 day before the event. This year I decided to visit one of the most famous and beautiful cities in the world – Munich! Early in the morning I took a high-speed train (ICE train, speed reaches 300 km/h) from the central station of Nuremberg and after 70 minutes I was in the central station of Munich!

I started my walk around the city from the main square of the city – Marienplatz. New Town Hall – the Symbol of Munich was is built on Marienplatz. New Town Hall city’s brightest and most visible building.

After a walk along Marienplatz, I headed towards the famous beer restaurant – Hofbräuhaus. This oldest beer garden restaurant is known worldwide. Hofbräuhaus was opened in 1607. Mozart, Hitler, Lenin and Krupskaya and etc visited Hofbräuhaus. There are several beer halls in the Hofbräuhaus and the total number of seats is approximately 4000.

Then I visited the Royal Munich Residence – the palace of the dukes and kings of Bavaria from the Wittelsbach dynasty.

Finally, I add – Munich subdued me. This is a great and cool place in Europe where you want to come again and again. The magnificent history, the oldest castles and palaces made in the Gothic style – all this is amazing.
